Kite workshop for children and families

Saturday, July 5th from 1-3pm at Listasafn Árnesinga Art Museum

Learn to build, color and decorate a simple, light and fun kite. Visual arts teacher Arite Fricke leads the workshop. Arite is a trained sign maker from Germany who graduated with an M.A. in design in 2015 and has a master’s degree in art education from the University of Iceland. She has taught art to children at primary school level. Arite is a so-called artist-teacher who likes to be involved in creating art as well as education. Her art is colorful and made from a variety of materials, like the kites. (www.flugdreki.is)

Warsztaty tworzenia latawców dla rodzin z dziećmi.

W sobotę 5 lipca w godzinach 13-15 muzeum LÁ.

Zapraszamy na kreatywne warsztaty, podczas których nauczysz się jak zbudować i udekorować lekki, wesoły latawiec! Warsztaty poprowadzi Arite Fricke – niemiecka artystka i nauczycielka sztuki. Arite ukończyła projektowanie w Niemczech (2015) i edukację artystyczną na Uniwersytecie Islandzkim; uczyła też sztuki w szkole podstawowej. To tzw. „artystka-nauczycielka”, która uwielbia łączyć sztukę z nauczaniem, a jej prace – tak jak latawce – są pełne kolorów i różnorodnych materiałów (www.flugdreki.is).

YOUR UNIQHE PERSPECTIVE

In this 2 hour family workshop, kids, teenagers and parents will explore the art of sharing their perspective with drawings.

‘‘A witch is riding a broom.

Suddenly, the witch finds a key to open a door!

What will she find on the other side? You decide’’

The scenes they choose to show, the colours they pick, the magic world hiding behind that door and even the way they draw the key, is unique.

I will unleash their creativity, guide them through the drawing panels, and make them have FUN with art!

For 6years and older.
